our last weekend was a su-per fun one…
we were verrrrry happy to take some time out of our floodiness and play with so many of our fav people!
the 1st annual hope in the hills was amazing. friends were fabulous. everything was wonderful.
we are really blessed to have such a large group of people to love. and we really really love them!
and then came sunday evening. huge. we watched the lost finale. ho. ly. cow.
oh, but first we had a little lost theme with our dinner. thanks mom. [we just love themes in this family.]
so now i have a major case of post-finale depression.
i did not get enough closure to end a 6-season relationship on… so i’ve been filling my voids with little tidbits like before & after losty pics and jorge garcia’s goodbye letter and pretending like jack & kate are together AND alive. this might be a little obsessive, but i can’t help it. obsessive is my personality. i am obsessive.
also, if you’re in a funk for whatever reason, you should maybe start doing some daily affirmations. like this little girl. she should totally be a life coach. i think i’ll go practice mine now.
[aaandand ps. my little african violet now has FIVE flower bloomies on it. five! i’ll add that to today’s affirmations.]
