it’s august. the summer is leaving us. isn’t that weird? i think it’s weird.
i’m going into savor-every-last-drop-of-summertime mode.
even though i’m super excited for sweaters and scarves and boots,
i’m just not quite ready. i’m too sentimental. and everything goes tooooo fast.

soon enough we’ll be admiring the colorful leavesand sipping warm cider while the sun sets at 6pm
[and wearing more layers of clothing than i like to consider necessary]
but for now, the hot sunshine is still here and burning my face off
so we’re going to bask! and frolic. and go to a fiesta.
and play with our out-of-town cousins.
all in the spirit of summer. and love. and happies.
I refuse to admit that summer will ever be over..it just can't be!! Thanks for all the "likes" on the new bloggyy hopefully ppl will go on trips..and maybe you one day 🙂
I'd like to think summer's over but it's always summer here in Hawaii…I suppose we're lucky :-). But I do wish I could wear sweaters and layers!! You have such a cute blog! xoxoxoxoo
this summer went by all too fast! i start school again on monday!
although, i am totally ready for scarves and cardigans… but it will be 100+ degrees here in arizona well into october!
