yesterday i went downtown to the antique mall with my mommy dearest, and it was such a happy and enjoyable way to spend the afternoon! old things are so pretty and nifty, aren’t they? i love them.
when i think about how brand new everything in our house is now, i just crave something with a little history on it. and i definitely found a few super great old things to put in our housey! but how strange is it to think that all of our stuff could outlive us and wind up in antique stores of the future as old-fashiony stuff of the early 2000’s for future little wifeys to buy because there’s history on it? that’s crazy.
ps. tonight’s the night! we’re spending our first night back in our house ever since this floody day. eee! wish us luck!
