fuzzy little memories

i love a good stroll down memory lane. i really do. because really, i love life. and i want to remember everything. and i think there’s almost nothing better than little snapshots that take you right back to happy or funny or bittersweet moments, big or small or medium sized.
so, i have this folder on my iphone where i keep the all pics that i have from older phones [you know, super early 2000’s vintage cam phones.] i hardly ever look at these pictures because i forget about them and they’re all fuzzy wuzzy and low quality… but i peeped at them the other night when i was trying to fall asleep and they just made me so happy! i have so many moments captured in silly little phone pictures…

like the time steven was 17 and i was 16 and he’d drive me around in his old brown lexus…
or the valentine’s day in college when we shared a yummy heart shaped pizza…

or the time krista made the most adorable pie in our auburn apartment…
or the time we hung out in steven’s room in the frat house right after he graduated…

or the time steven proposed! and later on texted me the sweetest little reminder pic…
or when my roomies tried on their bridesmaids dresses for the first time…

or the time my baby sis grew up and started driving…
or the time my brother wore pants on top of his head in my room at farmhome…

or the time my b-maids threw me the best beach bachelorette party…
or the time we got married and ate chicken marsala at table number 1…

or the time we adopted sophie as a teeny baby kittyfluff…
or the time minnie got spayed and was sad and had a goofy collar and we both cried…

or the perfect little moments spent with my sweet casey boy.

these old pics just make me smile when i see them. [except for minnie’s spaying sadness, of course.] how great is it that we have phone cameras and web cameras and little cameras and big fancy ones and polaroids and holgas and dianas and so many ways to capture life? i really. love. life.

[ps. it’s still weird to me to say the word “phone” so much in relation to photos. i feel like the jetsons kind of.]

    Is it bad that I want to be happy about these but I am not..bc I am selfish and I did not know you then and I wish I would have known you then. Yea anyway I am going to create our new invention. Maybe I could blog about that..since I feel like blogging..but my life is currently BORING.
