- the baby fluffs that cuddle and talk and run around and make me feel like i’m not all by myself. [making brittany not ever lonely is i think like 70% of the reason that steven ever agreed to getting a little pup. thank goodness he knows me and how much i don’t like being alone.]
- martha stew on tv making me excited for valentines day.
- paints + paintbrushes. being stuck at home is a good time for inspiration.
- the swiffer vac. it’s also a good time for cleaning.
- candles. duh.
- my cutey black 4runner. because steven has her and i know that her bad-a 4 wheel drive will bring him home even in a blizzard volcano earthquake so i can drive him crazy with my pent up energy. [his car is 2 wheel drive so he takes mine in potentially slick road situations leaving me in snow hibernation. but that’s okay.]
- all the sunshine that the forecast says is coming to visit next week. that will be so lovely!

we've had years here with no snow and i used to think that same thing! but now that the weather in nashville has gone crazy i'm kind of over it.
