life of charmings

weekishness and weekending

this week is really weekish feeling, i think. kind of like how mondays can be super mondayish, i think this week just feels weekish so far. obviously i’m only basing this off of one monday, so this could definitely change. our weekend was really fun, too, which kind of highlights the weekishness of the weekdays… not to mention the gray and rainy weather that’s been hanging around.

some of our weekend fun looked a little bit like this:

i know. so fun, right? and the dj is up there and he’s all “hey girl i’m in your picture and you’re having so much fun!” lately i’ve kind of had this vision of all our friends lots of years from now when all of our kids are grown up and we’re all retired and such… and in my vision we’re pretty much exactly the same as we are now. except we’ve maybe had a few teensy nips and tucks just to boost our graceful aging [although i’m really hoping that topical products will have improved drastically by then]. and also we’re at a fancy resort. i love having this vision!

also, we went and saw the movie i am number four over the weekend. husband and i gave it an A++ for having a really attractive cast. the rest was kind of meh but still enjoyable. i don’t know. i don’t wanna be too harsh. maybe a B? the dialogue could’ve been a smidge better. we still liked it enough.

so now that it’s 2am maybe i’ll stop blabbing about weekishness and weekending and get some sleep to find out what tomorrow will be like! according to the weather, tomorrow is going to be super. and wednesday is going to be super-er! i’m kind of emotionally dependent on mother nature like that.

goodnight, moon. [and if you catch the sun on your way out later, could you please tell him to shine a lot when he comes up? oh, and tell him to remind me to bake some banana bread. thanks.]
