mary and i have such a thing for girly little lunches.
i’m not even a super lunchy kind of person [i don’t even know what that means really]
but somehow we just always find a cute place to nibble no matter what time it is.
so we ate today at this kind of hidden-ish little place, the cottage cafe,
which is one of those cute cafes with cakes and quiches and old ladies.
[and it’s totally not hidden, but it was hidden from me, apparently, until now.]

now, steven would never ever find enough to eat at this place to be full for one second,
but they’ve got the most perfect girl portions, which i am all about.
a quiche, a muffin and a few bites of potato salad and i’m one happy luncher.
and they also have a vanilla bean lemonade, which i’d never heard of before,
but it’s one of the most delicious drinks i’ve tasted. i just couldn’t believe my taste buds.
what a happy friday so far. i love fridays!
[except that i am minus one steven this weekend and i already miss him.
i guess i’ll just have to make do by the pool all weekend.]
