midnight baking problem

i started baking cookies around 11:30 last night.
midnight baking can sometimes be a problem for me. because i love it.

these eggless lemon sugar cookies turned out even better than
the last time i made them. they’re sooooft and just slightly undercooked and
i didn’t even put any powdered shug on top, they were already so perfect.
and since they’re eggless, you get an excuse to eat like, double the amount
of yummy dough because you’re for sure not going to get salmonella.
[which is a risk that never stops me from dough eating anyway]
just buttery sugar fingers. which is fun at the time. and then you just feel sick [bleh].
so i put them in a little tub last night with a post-it note asking steven to take them
to the office… but upon waking i found the tub still there… and post-it off to
the side, which i’m sure was kittycat’s doing. so. no. no one took them to the office
and now here i am. in a dangerous situation. alone… with cookies…
and leftover dough in the fridge.
[i already ate two cookies for breakfast!]
cookies… i love you. amen.
