we did not make it to go a-churching today [booo]
as a very tired steven rolled in around 8am from a fun
boys trip and i also did not want to be that person in church
coughing their life away through the whole service. so awk.
but still, i have so many reasons to give thanks today
and sometimes you just have to let it out. you know, it’s
just not healthy to keep all that thankfulness bottled up inside…

if there is one thing i’ve learned since our happy marriage began,
it’s that life is not perfect and you just can’t expect it to be.
but at the same time… it so is. because when life hands you things
and people and flaws and sickness and natural disasters and silly stuff…
if you have people that really love you, that’s what matters at
the end of the day. and then you can pretty much just hug it out.

i have a lot of love in my life and i feel so very blessed!
and the best boy on this planet loves me day in and day out.
it gets better every day and i think that’s pretty great.

Last year around this time I was uber stressed about things like school and work– luckily I figured out the very thing you're talking about here…the people who super love you are really all that matters. At the end of the day no matter how many classes you're failing or how lame your job is if you go home to open arms you are a very lucky person indeed 🙂 and their hug makes it all go away.
