life of charmings

love, family, happiness

October 18, 2011 in friendies· music city· nashville

last weekend we pretty much just took turns having fun.

while i was feeling poopy for most of saturday, stevo headed down to the auburn/florida game on a sleeper bus full of boys and had a 24 hour fun time party. i was so jeal. [not so much because of the football game but because i miss auburn.] but the next day, as steven went to his office to squeeze out some extra work, yuck, i had fun girl time going downtown with my love, katie, and her sweet friend, danielle, who’s been visiting nashville for the first time from san fran. and it was also her birthday!

so, for a birthday celebrating nashvilley good time, we went to the dierks bentley miles & music for kids benefit at the riverfront for the afternoon and then made our rounds to show danielle some of the bars on broadway, like the stage, where gwynney p. filmed for that movie that i still have yet to see. also, we ate hot dogs and fries and i wrote on the wall in 3 places at paradise park… this was definitely my first time going there simply just for food. then, i fishtail braided katie’s hair in tootsies. it was a sunday night, after all. and there were a surprising amount of old people out at the honkytonks for a sunday. fascinating!

i so love nashville. i love nashville and all of it’s country music, beer drinkin, southern charm. [i mean, not that that’s all there is here. it’s a very multifaceted city.] and also, i’ve loved meeting you, danielle! thank you for sharing your green sharpie with me. and sidenote! i last minute super glued my cowboy boots back together where the soles were coming apart and they were totally magically miraculously okay again! oh, i continue to be so proud of my beloved cowboys.
