friends. food. fall. fluffies. fun.
we had a little gathering at our house in honor of all the
fall birthdays we have in our group of friends. there are so many!
[actually, there were only 2 people that didn’t have fall birthdays.]
minnie made a new fluff friend while sophie hid the whole night
and we ate and drank and were so so merry.
sunday.
leaves. lounging. leftovers. love.
sunday was so beautiful, i just couldn’t. get. enough.
it was the perfect day to unwind… enjoy the sunshine…
and digest… oh, aaaall that glorious food.
and then eat more, of course.
this season seems to bring about a whole extra
huge blob amount of thankfulness for me.
with the holidays ahead… i just get so excited!
especially when people start wearing sweaters,
i mean, i just want to hug the whole world.
and i’ve always been that way, it’s like something
inside me just starts throwing confetti and doing jazz hands.
i know i’m like, an “adult”-ish almost maybe thing but
sometimes i feel way more like a 6 year old on a pixie stick high.
[which is probably because i drink a lot of coffee.]
and see, there was a little while in life when i couldn’t remember
what it felt like to not be consumed by stress… or to breathe
freely without a mass of tension weighing heavily on your chest.
but this whole past year has been amazing.
promising. bright. hopeful. young. empowering. carefree.
and for that i could not be more thankful!
we are really blessed. and keeping in mind this season
that to whom much is given, much is expected.
