this is mostly about apples.

last night was one of my very favorite fall friday nights
for the very simplest reasons.

1. i heart steven.
2. i was so tired.
3. caramel apples.

i was so excited all week long about my paintings and etsy shop that i think i hardly slept a wink! yeah. true story! [and thank you! to everyone for such kind words and love and support about my paintings. and to sweet sarah for being my first etsy sale! it all means a lot lot lot to me!]

so last night i was exhausted… and i wanted. to stay. in. this is kind of a rare feeling for me because i can get a little bit restless, but oh, did it feel so good. and we made dinner and stuff and things. and then, my favorite happened. we maaaaade caramel apples! caramel apples are kind of a thing for us since high school. and when i say us, i mean me, but really us. it started, i guess, the first time i ever went to the beach with steven and his family. i ate the best caramel apple of my life on that trip and from then on it was kind of a tradition and i always got one when we went… and then caramel apples were just a thing. [i even had one on our trip last year!] but we’d never made them at home before until last night. and i was so happy.

[then he goes for a real regular plain apple instead. who, me? this apple? i love him.]

apples for everyone! and then something mysteriously magical happened and it was officially the best night ever when my very own husband said he would allow a viewing of… new moon. yes, that was the best. he’s just helping me prepare for the new movie that comes out in 2 weeks that i totally forgot i was excited about but then remembered. and now i am very excited. [and isn’t it so twilighty to be holding apples like that? it is!] but you know what? i still have never seen any harry potters and i’m feeling very left out of that club. i think we need to get on that. but not tonight because tonight… it’s party time. literally. we’re having a party. xo.

    Ah you guys are the cutest couple! I've never been a Twilight fan, however the other night I watched it on FX and now I'm dying to see the rest! yes, dying. Specially since I'm seeing the previews for the one coming out and she's pregnant! whhhhhat?!!
