last weekend was our official go-to-christmas-parties-weekend.

and not only is it christmas time, but around here it’s been smother-minnie-with-love time since we recently found out that our babyfluff needs knee surgery on her teeeensy little back knees. poor minnie! i am completely brokenhearted over the thought, although she seems to feel pretty good and it’s not really an emergency. still, babyfluff needs a good ole christmas miracle and i just want to smooch her little teddy bear face and squeeze her til her little knees are perfect again. but since it doesn’t really work that way, we just take pictures by the christmas tree.
also, sometimes i just can’t believe that we don’t have christmas trees up in our homes year-round. what is wrong with us? there is so much joy in a tree wrapped in lights and goodies!

And seriously, I totally agree with the trees being up all year! Just wrote about it a couple weeks ago actually.

Does she have luxating patellas? Aspen had that!! I only knew something was wrong because she was limping badly one day after a walk! Vet said both of her knees needed the surgery. I only had the one done, and she's been good ever since! Let me know if you have questions about it (assuming that's what she has–it's very common in Poms)

and our pup got knee surgery on both of her legs. Was quite the ordeal, but she is as good as new now and thankfully all out of knees. Hope yours does well.
