i remember taking a little walk with steven, a summertime stroll
right down the street to the home of our lovely neighb friends
to spend the evening with them and get some hang out time
right before they had their first little baby girl.

this past saturday, we found ourselves taking the very same
summertime-evening-neighbor-visit walk just exactly one year later…
only this time, it was to get together before we have our own first baby girl!
oh, what can happen in a year.
some things change.
some things don’t.
and that’s just how i like it.
[aaand today baby is 38 weeks… and seems to be staying put for now.]
Looking at the before shot and after you can totally see how much the trees grew in the pictures! The trunks have more width to them! kinda cool! 🙂
