…started out as kiiind of an off day. it was way too early when i first woke up with m. i told steven he should maybe just skip work, but he did not comply [maybe one day i’ll win this one!]. i totally forgot to have my coffee, a relationship which has only just come back into my life after about two months off. i didn’t get to watch the today show while m & i nursed, which is a new fav habit of mine. it feels totally housewifey, i love it. and then there were various other things involving spitup and scattered laundry piles and weird feelings in general. suddenly, the whole day had just escaped me! but outside the window, it had turned into the most beautiful evening, so we just took our little selves right outside and made up for all the “off” that we’d had. somehow getting outside always seems to fix everything!
and then, oh, that husband came home and he uttered the most magical words. do you know what he said? he said to me, “should we go get mexican?” umm, yes! we should!
so we did! and it was fabulous.
and the day was an off day no longer.

Don't you love getting out of the house and getting yummy food after a long day with a baby? It feels like a mini vacation, I swear!! She is really so beautiful and getting cuter and cuter!

Sounds like a good day to me lol. Love when I'm like the day got away from me, haven't cooked anything and H says "We should go out to eat then". Lol. It's rare though because I'm totally frugal these days and cook most days lol.

You are such a wonderful mother, your daughter is so precious and I have to admit I'm so jealous:) Unfortunately I'm still a student and I barely get to see my own boyfriend! I just had to say that I love your blog and I hope that you and your family are blessed with many many many years of happiness and togetherness!! I hope that I'll ge to experience the same one day but until then I'll just have to live through you vicariously:) This blog just makes my day!:)
