i miss this day. it was pretty.

last saturday we had the prettiest day ever, and i think it was probably the last really amazingly pretty day for a long long time around here. it’s like, once daylight savings happened, the weather just knew to get all depressing on us so that everyone’s seasonal affective disorder can set in. super! anyway, that day was perfect for all types of outdoorsing. steven and my dad did the wounded warrior run that morning, and that afternoon, i rode one of our horses, comet, for the first time since before i was pregnant! i hopped on only for a few minutes, but oh, how i needed those minutes. being on a horse just feels so right. now i just need to get back on myyyy horsey, mr. casey man. and i can’t wait to put that baby girl on a horse. don’t even get me started! but back to the weather. that day ended in a storm which knocked over a tree which smashed a fence and that, i suppose, was an appropriate way to end the last sunny, warm, regular daylight day of 2012.

and now we’re officially onto candles and christmas music. oh yes. we so are.

*ps. my sister might wonder why i just had to include the shot of her with her little phone machine in hand. it’s because i love her so much that i can’t even handle it, and i think she’s really pretty. love you, stine-bean. also, my husband and my baby and my horses all at once? gah, melt my heart into a big ole puddle.
