last weekend was kind of a slow weekend around here… we had nowhere we had to be… and i have to say, iiii needed it! july was a little cray-cray, and while it was fun and stuff… i’m officially tired of saying, “i’m tired!” you know? because that’s not me! i’m so not tired girl! and i don’t like needing sleep, i’ll sleep when i’m dead, or when my kids go to college or something. anyway, slowing down felt so super amazing, and some of my favs from this weekend included…
…a cute farmers market ’round our parts! got my hubsicles a little peach prezzie.

and so! i am thankful. for slow weekends and good neighbors and pretty babies and all sorts of things… also, steven cleaned out our garage saturday morning, and oh my g, it looks and feels amazing. and seriously, ps, i am thankful x’s a million to be in a place in life where the whole august back-to-school thing doesn’t affect me any more than getting slowed down at school zones and stuck behind a few yellow buses! yaaaay august is still summer for me-heee! hallelujah, amen!
slow weekends are the very best! also it's so crazy to me school starts in august there! kids don't back until september out here… probably because our summer doesn't start until july. weird cross country differences.
Slow weekends are my jam. And yes! August is still play, play, play time. Though i will buy so,e shiny new pencils. (:
