one of maddalena’s favorite almost-daily moments in our house
is when she realizes that her beloved sophie-cat
has taken up the cozies inside of her princess cottage.
she immediately stops what she’s doing and goes in to join her…
and though we know that sophie loooves her baby,
baby is now a toddler and can be a bit aggressive with her kitty lovin’.
and so, sophie usually hops out pretty quickly,
but, bless that patient kitty’s heart, she stayed put this time,
but, bless that patient kitty’s heart, she stayed put this time,
and maddalena promptly decided to shut her in.
sorry, soph!! she made her escape, though.
ahhh this princess cottage. it sure does see some action!
[i’m afraid if maddalena ever has a little brother,
he’ll be hangin’ in the pink cottage with the best of ’em!]
