i feel like it’s too easy these days for steven and i to end up going in a million different directions for a whole lot of our week… so, i always come out of a weekend one super happy girl when we’ve gotten some time just for the three of us! and even better when it’s four! minniiiieee! minnie joined us on our family lunch date this weekend, and it was so lovely. i really wish it was easier for fluffies to meander about america with their humans. that was one of my favorite things about italy! everyone had their pup with them! walking down the street and going in stores and eating and just everything. i so loved it. even in venice, there were so many dogs, and you’re like, where are these dogs pottying? oooh, and then there’s us and our silly health codes over here 😉 it is a teensy little bit silly, if you ask me… but no one did? phooey!! well, anyway…
later, maddalena took the longest nap in the history of being maddalena and it was crazy. i mean, anything longer than 30 minutes is really impressive in this house! and this was longer than 30 for sure. gosh. i love my two people. i do! it’s so great!
and ps. every time we go to lunch, it’s become a habit of mine to get a big chocolate chip cookie and eat it first. steven was all, “why aren’t you eating your soup?” and i was like “i’m not finished with my cookie!” because you can do that sort of thing when you make your own rules! one of the perks of growing up, yo!
speaking of yo… breaking bad finale?! we watched it! so good. we thought it ended juuust right and talked about it for probably 30 minutes after.

I have an obsession with chocolate chip cookies. My rule is to save my favorite of whatever i'm eating for last- best sandwich bite, cheesiest bite of pizza, etc. I just have to end on the best possible note. The biggest downside about this is that it often results in really messy eating LOL. Your little one is too cute! Her little chubs is amazing!! Such a beautiful family 🙂
i'm such a hoarder when it comes to my meals. i save my favorite parts for last, but then accidentally sometimes eat too much because i want to finish it. i think cookie first is a great way to go 🙂
