i’ve had a lot of thoughts on friendship lately, and well, i will say this: a good friend can be hard to find! i am soo thankful for the friends that i have been blessed with, though, and this one ladyfriend of mine, katie, she is truly a good and wonderful friend. one i really appreciate, and i hope i remembered to tell her that during our little coffee date at barista parlor last monday!! we caught up with our life chats over coffee and indulged in a couple of pretty pink macarons. [which… i have to confess, i think are all a smiiidgey overrated! sorry, france! but still, these were truly tastey and super cute.] i also got an a-mazing chocolate chip cookie, because you know me and my chocolate chip cookie love…
also, i hadn’t been to barista parlor until that afternoon, but it definitely lived up to all the good things i had heard! i loved it!

I do have to agree that finding really good girl friends when you grow up is difficult. Everyone is in such different stages of life – it is tough to find a best friend.
