i am going to sing a little song that i wrote. okay? we are actually very talented songwriters around here. extremely good songwriters, and we like to dedicate most of them to maddalena, which is what i shall do here today. so here i go. ahem ahem ahem.
maddalena had a farm… e-i-e-i-o! and on that farm…
…she had a swing!
…and a train!
…and some donkeys!
…and a horse!
…and then my heart melted for the 9976 billionth time. e-i-e-i-o!
see? how good was that? well, guess what, my dance moves are eeeven better. anyway, this song was inspired by one of our recent farmhome escapes, because the weather ’round here has just been full of such glory! also, to say that my child is obsessed with the donkeys and horses and choochoo trains is an understatement. i kind of am, too, though, so i get it. plus, horse time? it’s the best remedy for anything. are you stressed? are you teething? tummy hurt? boy problems? bad hair day? yep, anything. and thank goodness. keeps my silly soul at peace. 🙂
