here’s the truth about me: i can be restless. i can be stubborn. i can be picky. i can get my hopes up and be let down. but really, the bottom line? i am sooo easily pleased! give me my favorite people, top it off with wine. settle in for a cozy night. throw in pancakes?! and call me delighted!
on saturday evening, the whole world froze, i think. if not the whole world, well, at least nashville. so, we hunkered down in our housey, hiding indoors from the bitter cold. we poured our evening wine, then decided on breakfast for dinner! and as we whipped up some pancakes and eggs, the kitchen dances ensued [mine were at an all time high for ridiculousness in an attempt to get some extra attention], and then, just to make all our lives complete… we watched the best of late night with jimmy fallon when it aired… and oh my gosh. my smile lines might actually be permanent now. i. love. jimmy. but i rarely catch his late night show, so i especially enjoyed his we can’t stop, his “ho hey” by the chickeneers, his justin timberlake barbershop quartette, and about a billion others. and ooh, those pancakes! they were pret-ty darn good, if i do say so myself!
…and that, my friends, was a night of hibernation at it’s finest!
Not so sure about the whole world, but here in Murfreesboro it certainly froze. Still frozen. Ridiculous. On another note, breakfast for dinner sounds perfect, now I know what make! 🙂

Breakfast for dinner is one of the best! Especially since I'm usually running out the door in the more with a granola bar instead of some pancakes, french toast, or eggs. Yum!
