my casey boy is 27!!

if you know me at all,
[or have witnessed a single dot of my internettings, iii know]
then you prooobably know by now that a huge part of me
is my sweet horsey boy, casey… aaand so!
i could not be more excited to celebrate the fact
that today! my beauty boy is turning 
27 years old!!!!
i am so so proud of him,
and endlessly thankful for all of our years together.
i’ve prayed for so long that he would live a long
and healthy life that even my babies would get to be a part of,
and now! to see him with maddalena!
well, that’s enough to keep my heart in a permanent puddle.
and how does the saying go?
behind every happy girl is a loyal and beautiful
yet slightly stubborn horsey? 
well, that’s what the saying should be, anyway.
happy birthday, my casey!!!
we’ll be by with some birthday love very soon 😉
*i recently read that age 27 for a horse is like age 78 for a human! what! honestly, though, judging by casey’s relatively fabulous overall health, i’m not sure if i think that’s quite right…

**also, my brother turned 24 human years on saturday!! we had fun celebrating him!
