we freshened up our yard a bit last weekend, which made me oh so happy!
then we had some of our very best bests come dine with us and that, too, made me ooooh so happy!
wine! food! good company! babes and popsicles! blooming flowers! i mean, that’s just my kind of sunday plan right there. fiiiinally the happ-happiest season of all has arrived and santa claus is kiiiind of nowhere in sight. not that i don’t love me some santa. i do. i so do. but gosh, waiting indoors for his visit gives me cabin fever like i can’t even describe!
and so… here we are! happy and barefoot and warm once again!
steven grilled up some goodness and we chatted in the fresh air with people we are so thankful for while the tiniest of the friendships had miniature conversations all their own. i mean, i can’t even deal with the cuteness of baby friends. maddalena has always been such a reserved one, so to see her come out of her shell little by little with other sweet tiny people is just so fun for us to watch!
and thank you to my hunnybunny for doing such fabulous things in the yard this weekend! those husband muscles are coming in quite handy, i must say. gotta keep putting to good use all that crossfit stuff you scurry off to at dawn’s first crack, huh. 😉
