if you’re looking for the absolute loooveliest people on. this. planet… well, i’m pretty certain i know just who they are!! maddalena and i were purely delighted yesterday to get to share breakfast at one of our very favorite places, loveless cafe, with our official favorite newlyweds, sophie and george!
i have known sophie through her blog, the littlest things, for years now, which is crazy! because i know i say this constantly, but my goodness, time flies!! i first fell in love with her blog when she was living in london, taking gorgeous photos and being perfectly adorable alongside her charming, british boyfriend, george… and now they’re both back in her hometown of sydney, australia, where they have just gotten married! yay, a thousand congratulations to such a beautiful couple!
and okay, so here they are, traveling around the US on their honeymoon, squeezing in a little visit with me?! i mean, you guys! i was so honored! plus, turning adored blog friends into actual huggable real friends is one of my faaavorite things these days.
so, to maddalena’s surprise, we did not spend the morning with a kittycat and a monkey [since our cat’s name is sophie and madd’s also pretty in love with a certain curious monkey named george, there was at first a smidge of confusion behind her little eyes! haha!], but you know, she gave her stamp of approval on the human versions, anyway… and when maddalena gives somebody the thumbs up? it’s kiiind of a big deal! but soph is just angelic, and these two together are as warm and wonderful as you can even imagine. it’d be absolutely impossible not to love them, and really, we should have begged them to stay a while longer! i could have chatted and laughed for days!
congratulations again, you two lovebirdies, and thank you so so much for breakfast!! i hope this trip is just the perfect start to your new life together, and if you are ever back in nashville, please know that we will happily take you in and force you to snuggle with us! 🙂 love you guys so much!
and ps. i just have to mention, also, that sophie and her dad have the coolest [and most beautiful!] online recipe collection called what to cook tonight where you can sign up and receive weekly cookbooks for your meal planning! i am going to do one of their recipes soon and my tummy is excited!

oh my, i get so nervous!!! but so far i have had such great experiences meeting girls, and to my knowledge none of them have openly hated me, yet, or anything too terrible! 🙂 haha!
