sooo, hey! since we had a super busy first half of may, this last half where i’ve finally gotten to hit up my to-do list, tap into those nesting vibes, and get a few things accomplished before a little teeno bambino is runnin m’show here has been ooh. soo. lovely!

[our daily smoothies have become quite the staple! i love how much goodness i can pack into madd’s tiny body that way! okay, and mine. i’m just gonna start pureeing all my salads from now on, i think. haha. but really?]
[no longer totally a princess world in our house!! all the soft blue stripes a little one can handle!]
[i used to borrow steven’s penguin pants when i was 16… but ooh, if i could show high school us juuuust how handy they’d come in 12 years down the road! and hey, did you hear about the eclipse happening? yep, iiit’s a big one…]
[can’t seem to put away my little stack of mother’s day cards… with this pretty one from my sis on top. they’re making me too happy!]

[fav little things lately: floral bridesmaid robe, horseshoe necklace to keep my casey boy close, the most necessary & beautiful lacey underthings [need a few more, STAT], and some pretty seashells i picked up at the beach in colors that remind me of my babes!]
[redid a whole bunch of my succulents and they are so freshened up and happy now!]
[pretty solid week or so of wearing her flower girl dress every day after wedding weekend… and oh, bless her heart!! accidental naps aren’t too usual, but when she needs it, accidentally passing out is the only way she’ll get some extra rest in. never been so into the napping, that girl! totally understand it, too. she get it from her mama.]
[the three books we’ve been reading every single night with maddalena, per her request… but i mean, no pressure in life or anything there, right? gosh, being almost 3 is hard!!]
[thank you, african violets, for making me feel successful! these came from my grandmother’s plant a handful of years go, and they are still doing so well!]

Oh my goodness her sleeping at the table is just the sweetest thing!!! And all the flowers! Can never have too many in my opinion. And potty training pressure. Sheesh. I finally decided I'm done trying with David and he will just come around to it on his own terms. I don't have the energy to fight with him. These kids. They will get there!!!
