a happy birthday to youuu, steven robert, my love!
we celebrated stevo last weekend because woohoo! he turned 30 on sunday! and that’s just nuts. 30?! pretty sure when we were 16 and 17 we never thought we’d actually be 30 [still pretty sure i won’t be], but i think it looks good on him. and i’m proud of his years. i mean, he’s got a wife with sparkle-toed shoes and a couple of sweet little snugglebunnies to show for it all, right! haha. oh, and a steady career. great head of hair. a bunch of new socks. you know, the american dream! 😉
some of our best friends went in on a celebration with us for our october boys on saturday, and we sure appreciated getting to love and celebrate life with people that we love to celebrate with. not to mention our life is a *little* bit scattered right now! so, it was super sweet of our friends to host at their absolutely beautiful home aaand make a ridiculously delicious cake! i can’t believe i didn’t bring half that cake home and keep it a secret and nom on it every night at midnight, what was i thinking?
i sooo wish i had gotten a photo of the birthday boys together!! i didn’t get that many shots of the festivities but, as the evening went on the boys enjoyed watching football, the kids had a blast playing in the big, fun playroom, and i was mostly holding and nursing my baby, because, haha, that’s just life when you have a tiny one!
then, sunday morning was steven’s actual birthday, so not long after we woke up… mangosas! tastes just like our jamaican honeymoon. 🙂

Happy birthday to him! That sounds about right though…. New baby and a thirtieth birthday to celebrate and let someone else host. It's too much! My parent's hosted Matt's. Thank god. Sounds like a perfect weekend!
everything is harder for sure with a new baby! and we haven't even been in our house for almost a week now since we're selling it, so… craziness! thank goodness when someone else out there is stable and willing to play, right!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

So crazy how time flies when you're having fun. It still makes me laugh that I'm my "boyfriend's" wife now..and that we have two babies. Congratulations to you and your family!
