rocco has theee best little kangaroo pouch situation going lately, doesn’t he?! all tucked in his carrier, wrapped in my coat whenever we go out… and he loves it! my bundled baby eskimo! plus, i can’t even deal with his face beaming up at me like that… i can’t!! i can’t. he’s my sunshiney heaven, that boy. and so far he likes his casey visits! yay! maddalena is growing into such a good little horsey helper, and i cannot wait to get both my babes on horses when it warms up in a few months!
buuut as for right now… well, the lady on the news the other night kept talking about “old man winter” arriving. haha. i was like …old man winter?? but hey! she was right! old man winter is HERE and he’s hangin. it’s currently a balmy 30 degrees and little ice balls have covered our back deck! oh, i swear, that always happens right as i let myself start picturing spring just around the bend! ha! nooot so fast, says old man winter. 😉
also, i seriously hadn’t purchased a new winter coat in yeeears. i mean like, BIG winter coat! so, i finally took care of that way before it was cold, when sales were awesome, and got a lands’ end fur-hooded deal and. i. LOVE IT!! i could sleep in it, i love it so much! why didn’t i do that ages ago?!!
ps. have i mentioned lately that casey turns 29 next month?! have i mentioned that i’ll probably mention that approximately 1 million times?! i am so proud of him!
pps. minnie turned 8 [WHAT!!!] last saturday and i *may* have forgotten, but i love you, minnie!!!! happy birthday!

All these milestone birthdays can be a bit much for a girl to bear! The coat looks super toasty warm and I mean Rocco in that first photo I CAN'T!
OMG that first pic of Rocco! It's too much! Tooo much cuteness I tell you! He is such a little stud 🙂 You can see in that pic how much he adores you Brittany! And I'm right there with ya on picturing Spring and then boom Winter is like nope! Sorry guys, still here! It was 3 degrees here in WI this week…3! And the "Felt like temp was -20! We have some 30+ degree weather days coming soon and I'm all like heat wave! lol
