i mean, one glance at his deliciousness and OH,
what on earth even matters except squeezing
him [and his sister] forever? nothing, basically!
although… coming in at second place would probably be:
drinking coffee immediately upon waking.
proper moisturization. italian food. cheese exploration.
fresh flowers. and sleep. in that order, of course.
anyway! i have to admit, i miiiight be guilty lately
of whispering little nothings in rocco’s ear, such as,
“don’t grow up!” and “you can stay with me forever!”
and i’m not kidding! no one should really grow up too much,
and a full house is my happy place!
but he’s so excited about every new accomplishment…
sitting up, jumping, using iphones… the basics, you know!
so, i don’t think he’ll be slowing down any time soon. 😉
and there is just nothing that can replace the way he beams
when he’s proud of himself. it’s impossible not to beam right back.

Oh he is such a dear. Forever and ever. I know time does this, I've lived it, but I literally cannot wrap by head around the fact he is six months old already! He is just so squishy you have to. Squish away mama! And coffee! Amen!

i agree!! i had *almost* forgotten how much fun it gets from here on out!! although i am totally in mourning over the infant stage being gone gone gone!!
