okay, i was SO excited for the easter bunny to come this year!! i mean, maaaybe i was totally not on top of it when it came to anyone’s church outfits for the morning, but the personalized name baskets! oh, hello, mom dreams coming true!
and so, sweet mr. rocco had his first easter, and all his little firsts are just dear and precious to me. he’s such a gentle, loving, fun, strong, happy boy and i am savoring every bit of him! we also could not belieeeeve it was maddalena’s 4th easter morning!! what?! how does that happen?! but you see, it does! it happens!! it’s entirely bittersweet, but oh such fun. those babies give our days, especially holidays, so much life!
anyway, after baskets we made a big morning scramble and finally, successfully went merrily a-churching! maddalena actually went and enjoyed the 3 year old class [!!!!!!] and rocco was a champ for moooost of the service. okay, mostly the music part, but no complaints there!
then, as tradition holds, brunch was served at the farm! [and then dinner!] family was warm and wonderful, and aaall was right in the world. thank you, Jesus, once again. 🙂
oh!!! and guess who got his first tooth on easter?! rocco man! as did maddalena when she was getting her first tooth! i mean, whaaaat are the odds?!
pretty safe to say i love my my loves!
ps. i feel really terrible admitting this, but… i wore bunny fur. on easter. i know. i know.
Sweetest little bunnies!!! <3 We're not quite at personalized baskets yet (maybe next year? Ha!) but I managed to get baskets togerher during the wee hours of Easter morning, just in the nick of time. I agree – these little ones give holidays so much life!!

Such a great day! And the tooth tradition I mean wow! Just love the joy of an Easter morn! We didn't get to church bc they didn't have childcare available and noooope. Not that brave. Not like you! ☺️
