…bare legs stretched out in the sunshine…
…maddalena’s high heels and wardrobe changes…
…sips of bubbly prosecco…
…snuggles with my love and deep breaths of fresh oxygen as the babies play…
…family, human and fluffies, all around…
…steven being eternally unamused by me 😉
…golden views, sunset frolics…
…followed by dinner hot on the stove and fresh off the grill!
year after year, there’s still no place i’d rather spend sunny afternoons and warm nights, no people i’d rather spend them with. i love the way the sun paints everything gold as it sets. i love evening walks to the horses, wine in hand. i love that the sunshine brings us all together, and i love that friends, old and new, are always joining us. i love that our babies are happiest outdoors. and i love that soon enough there will be swimsuits strewn, dripping dry by the end of the day!
and hey, i’ll be the first to admit that life can feel so darn frustrating, overwhelming, and exhausting… and way more often than i’d like for it to. but days like these! they make me giddy. and i don’t think i’m the only one. 🙂
