after being way too sick for way too long all week last week, the little loves and i had a gingerbread date with my mom and sister for some much-needed christmas cheer!! and oooh, these afternoons are always my favorite. my mom found the cutest gingerbread barn to put together this year!!! throw in some hot cocoa, time with my best gals, plenty of my favorite christmas tunes, and everything is merry and bright. 🙂 [i also love looking back on the photos from last year and the year before!]
…aaand then we just couldn’t stop there, so we made some frosting-y little christmas trees…
…yes yes, there we have my gold + white, then m’s traditional tree, christina’s perfect mini-forest, and my mom’s snow covered baby tree.
…and it was good. especially all the frosting that was licked. 🙂

it was such a fun change from the traditional gingerbread house we do every year!!! and we had gingerbread people we didn't even get to!!!
