a weekend heat wave!

sooo… we really did this past weekend right! apparently, there was a heat wave… but i was much too busy being completely pleased with life to notice all that much. i’m always cold, anyway, and all i want is a good pool float scenario! so, heat wave, you say? that works for me! i will mention, however, i was not the one that had to mow the lawn this weekend, or i’m sure i’d have had more to say on the topic. 🙂

honestly, though, being by or in the pool is the best kind of therapy for summertime lovers like us. we all came home yesterday afternoon refreshed and worn out in the best kind of way. also, have i mentioned that when my whooole family is home and by the pool my entire life is complete? because for REAL this is what my life comes down to. for. real. how. can. i. really! emphasize! this!

now! on to the 4th! and rocco’s birthday at the end of the week! i can’t believe this time three years ago i was just waiiiiting for life with the most delicious little island boy imaginable. <3
