…when you realize you have less than a week to have 4 people packed and ready for our first trip as a five-human circus! list-making has commenced! solid lists are the. only. way. if you ask me… so, i thought this enneagram trip-prep reference was funny. again, i find myself in the 1 category.

…when starbucks is unfailingly the very best pick me up. gosh. gosh gosh. i jumped out of my box with a vanilla bean coconut milk latte this week, which was fun, but a smidge too sweet to make it my usual. i’ll be going back to my regular ole latte next time! which i love. less is more when it comes to a latte, i think.

…when winter days have your baby hooligans bouncing off the aaactual walls! [started following this gal on the ‘gram in hopes that i don’t totally mess up my fun small people! haha!]

…when you trade cars with your husband so you can haul more chillens, but now your bun touches the ceiling of the car, and it drives. you. bananas.

…when your 4 month old grows overnight and is suddenly wearing 9. month. clothing!! he’s delicious. he’s absolutely delicious, people. he brings me pure joy from the moment he opens his eyes, and i’d be happy to cancel anything and everything just to watch him experience oxygen all day.

…when your sissy spoils you with a no reason prezzy that has your name all over it, because she’s the delightful ricotta filling to my cannoli, just casually amazing like that.

…when you live for a good blackout outfit! [or pinkout, or whiteout! but those don’t quite mask the stains of little bunny life.] FAVS: athletic shoes – neeeed the light pink ones // pocket leggings – i also have in gray! // and of course, my NRP, no reason prezzy 🙂 i could live in baggy beach jumpers, but you really have to find them for a good price!

…when you cannot resist a house full of love creatures, and you’re slightly crazy, so you’ll be bringing home a *NEW BABY* in just a couple weeeeeks! any guesses as to what kind of baby? 😉

…anyway, when you make all the lists of all the necessities, and somehow remain endlessly unprepared, you join the chaos, pour something hot, pour something red, and salud! as my dad would say! cheers to winging it.
