…i like my fluffies black, can you tell? ha! my fluffs and my cars. and sometimes my coffee, but i’ve actually been adding milk or cream to my coffee since i was pregnant with luca! but basically my entire life rule is… if it’s not some shade of white or pink… it’s black! okay…. or gold. do they make gold animals yet? shouldn’t science be working on that? 😉
i’d forgotten that i took these photos last week, and i sure don’t want to forget about them! these sweet creatures, they keep me busy and happy… and there is really just something about boys and pups that i have dreamed of since rocco was little! he is still having a smidge of a hard time with stella being twice his size and very licky… but truly, they adore each other. and luca just thinks he is a dog a lot of the time. i love it. i just love it.
anyway!! it’s thanksgiving week!! it’s also my birthday week, which means little more than the fact that my one birthday rule is that all my choices shall be pink and/or glittery, so. that’s the direction i’ll be headed this week. my birthday is not hugely on my radar, but it is an excuse for pink! also, i love when it lands on thanksgiving, which it does this year! built-in celebration!
so, wow! really big life updates, right? haha. on the topic of colors, have you heard of synesthesia? i haven’t brought this topic up in a while, but basically, it’s a neurological deal that causes multiple senses to combine at once, i guess you could say. for example, i see numbers and many words as colors. but i didn’t know until i was a teenager… or even later? that this was not normal! haha! anyway, when we first got married and got a home phone number, i really didn’t like it because it had a lot of 7s which are orange and 5s which are yellow, but i grew up with a very purple-dominant phone number, so i was all out of sorts about it! all that to say, i wonder if this is why i do not like much color around me, in general… or if it’s just ironic that i see colors but prefer neutrals!
