i now have a few necklace combinations that i’m absolutely in looove with… all from some small jewelry shops that i adore!! jewelry with meaning is a must for me. everything i wear is symbolic in some manner. there’s a story behind each of my pretty things, and i want to be able to enjoy and save them all for years and years to come! i mean, silhouettes of my babes and hand-etched pendants! these things, they have my heart.
as kind of a sidenote… isn’t social media a funny thing?? amid all the very valid concerns of privacy and oversharing or undersharing and comparison and likes and consumerism and whatever… it’s allowed me to not only discover these beautiful shops, win giveaways from all three at various points [crazy, right?! what are the odds?!], enabling me to have pieces of jewelry that i’d already been dreeeaming of… and to then go on to make additional purchases from each one, supporting small businesses that i believe in! i love it. for me, that connection makes things all the more meaningful!
anyway! just wanted to throw these talented-mama-owned companies out there as suggestions for christmas list making! i know this is a busy season, and there’s not a lot of time for custom orders… so, i would suggest putting a gift card on your wish list, or getting one for someone else. easy!
