take us out to the baaall gaaaaame… [a little visit to the nashville sounds!]

we have a little triple-A baseball team around here! the nashville sounds! didja know that? we really haven’t been to many of their games, though. prior to this week, i’d only been to one or two, actually! and i remember feeling kind of like, alrighty! check that off the list! at the time, the stadium was a bit older and a little run down feeling… and i’m recalling a beer-only scenario? which i’m just not a massive partaker of… i don’t know! i’m not so much a sports enthusiast, either, so i don’t go to these things to just watch the game. i go for the social hour and the big, happy vibes!! totally important aspects, you know… in addition to winning. i do like winning, too!

well, anyway!!! the sounds got a fancy new stadium a few years ago, which i was actually really hoping to check out sometime in this decade. i thought it would be fun to take the kiddos, too! so! it was just perfect when steven’s office hosted a little family day trip to the sounds game on monday. and even though he maaay have been a little surprised that i didn’t try to wriggle my way out of a sports outing… 😉 i was so happy to finally scope it out!!

ta-daaaa… the new stadium is so fun! and despite it being around nap time on a hot august monday, the little bunnies had a great time, too! success!! and honestly, i really just love watching my tiny humans do full-sized human things in full-sized human places. i’ll go pretty much anywhere to witness that day in and day out. and also, i hope maybe we won? because we didn’t stay super long, so i really have no clue. it was nap time on a hot day, remember! mamas and kiddos were dropping left and right!!

and then…

…ahhhhhh, nap time! it was a late nap, but a glorious one, at that!! also, did i mention steven and i are juicing this week? yes, he’s doing a really tasty 3-day juice cleanse… and i’m just sticking with my full-strength evening grape juice. 😉 know thy needs, i say. high five!
