this weekend we celebrated our 6 year old princess maddalena rose!!! we had our families, naturally, and a few little girlies for a fairy tale tea party of sorts. and by tea party i mean… pink lemonade and cake party, of course. <3

true to her nature, baby girl knew exactly what qualities she was looking for in a cake this year… a chocolate and mint chocolate chip ice cream cake… with pink frosting… topped with a unicorn! i was only hoping she’d be okay with 3 shades of pink, two unicorns, and a glittery gold castle. 😉

…so much sweetness in one afternoon!! seriously, waking up to unicorns and princess crowns and pink and gold everything is completely my happy place. i am not sad that maddalena inherited this same love! but most importantly, it was so much fun celebrating her. she is easy to adore, that girl, and i’m so proud of every little thing about her. we love you, beautiful princess maddalena rose!!!
