in august, maddalena & i returned home from a great trip,
m met her great-grandmom scioscia and cousin bella for the first time.
we visited the little friday night farmer’s market near us,
had sunny days & rain, got our first shipment of honest diapers!
[which is more exciting than one might think!]
snipped some pretty roses, baked some yummy cookies,
found a new favorite mexican restaurant,
enjoyed pretty evenings with friends and took a trip to the zoo!
then steven traveled a little while his girls had a lovely staycation at the farm,
where one morning, maddalena took her own little iphone portrait.
oh, and let’s not forget how much we mommies loved on our babies [dolls included].
you were beautiful, august of 2013!

i love, love, love having the ability to go back and look over so many
of my favorite tiny moments that i’ve been able to capture in our day to day!
life moves fast, memories fade. i am so thankful for every little snapshot.
kind of makes me wish our parents had had the capabilities when we
were little that we have now! a big ole stash of 80s/90s iphone photos!
can you imagine? ha!
Oh my could you imagine!? The hair! The parachute pants! The horror! Although I'm sure our kids will one day be saying that about our giant collection of photos of themselves. But they are just too cute. It must be documented.
